Charlie's  feathers are really growing in quite well. Most of his scrawny red neck is

 covered in soft fluff!

 It was windy again yesterday. There were so many vultures soaring above Coopville:

 Such a joy to watch!

 They are just about the only birds that the local crows don't chase!

 Supposed to get cold - I put extra hay in the coop. Betty investigates:

Here she is trying to see what kind of treat is in my hand:

Now that some of the leaves are gone, I can start to see Sunrise Mountain again!

Today's funny :o)

What a difference a day makes!

Friday started out just beautiful here in Coopville. Made a quick run to Tractor supply....

 When we left the store, some clouds started to roll in....

Still mostly sunny, but wispy high clouds:

By late evening they were thicker and the wind picked up a bit:

High winds came through during the night and took a LOT of the leaves off:

Sunday morning was still breezy, too

Hubby spent the day gathering up the leaves. By the time he finished one spot and went to do another, the first spot was covered again!

He doesn't really mind leaf duty, though -  gets him outside in the fresh air all day and 

 keeps him out of trouble!
