Lawdy!!!!

I don't know how I did it, but I got some pics to post.  When I connected the camera to the new laptop, a newer version of "Play Memories" by Sony was installed automatically by this damn Windows10. I didn't do anything! It's more confusing than the older version I had - the files are all over the place. This is really gonna take me a while to figure out where all the folders are. BUT....at least they are on the hard drive....

Pictures will be posted as I find them - no special date order until I figure it all out! LOL!

Sunset after the last snowfall:

This is Maude's egg that I posted about the other day:

Our local little airport:

Sorry I haven't been posting much - still awfully tired and frustrated with myself for not being stronger. I have a bad cold and on top of all the rest of the nonsense going on, I burned my hand on the rack getting this out of the oven:

(Yep, it's 5 layers deep)

And here's a funny just in case you've missed 'em:

Dang....

... if it only had a rooster instead of a boid....

Ah, well, couldn't afford it anyway!

:o)

Today's funny :o)

All quiet....

                                                      .... in Coopville.

Still cannot get my camera pics to the blog but at least they downloaded to the program that came with the camera. Maybe by the end of the week......

Finally figured out how to stop that touch pad thingy from messing up the sizes of pages.

That gang is fine. Betty has pulled a whopping amount of feathers from Charlie's neck. His neck is not bleeding, so I don't think minds. Yet, he will bite her when I hand out the raisin treats. He doesn't want her to have any.

Maude laid a humongous egg - it was so large it wouldn't even fit in an old 'jumbo' egg carton. Will post the pic of it when ...

Wilma got caught in the deer netting that is covering the run. She tried to fly over it but missed. Two hawks have been hanging around - they even fly over the pen and perch in the nearby trees. If she had flown out, she would have been a goner. Just a typical day around here!

'Hope everyone had a wonderful New Year!

At the Hop

The Sisters!

Sisters Rosella, Ersi, and Mary Arvizu believed they could be the next Supremes — even before there were Supremes. They called themselves The Sisters.
Mark Guerrero, son of Chicano music legend Lalo Guerrero, tells the story:
In the mid-1960s in East L.A., The Sisters were the Eastside’s answer to Motown’s Supremes.  Like The Supremes, they were three well-dressed, classy, female vocalists who could sing extremely well.  The Sisters were actually formed several months before The Supremes burst on the national scene.  However, according to Ersi and Rosella, although they liked and were influenced by The Supremes, they were more influenced by other female vocal groups such as Martha & the Vandelas and The Ronettes.  The Sisters recorded three singles in 1965 for Bob Keane’s DelFi Records and were a fixture on the East L.A. music circuit of the era.  Ersi went on to sing with El Chicano on their second album, “Revolution,” where she provided the lead vocal to their classic recording of “Sabor a Mi.”
