Mostly about my backyard chickens. (Boring, I know), but there are a lot of us out here. Mine are only kept as pampered pets. I could eat a neighbor's chicken, but not MINE. There may be a comment on current events only if I get riled up enough. And there will always be a cartoon or a joke to cheer us. I promise to try my very best to respond to comments. Now I have to figure out how this blogger thingy works....

Hen pecked!
Hubby turned the garden over to get rid of any leftovers.
The sound of the roto-tiller don't bother the gang. They are more interested in eating bugs!
After wandering around for a couple of hours, Charlie came up on the deck for a treat. Notice some of his neck feathers are starting to grow back.
Why he lets Laverne and Shirley pick at him I'll never know. Lucy never bothers him the way those two do. However, when he's had enough, he bites them. I just hope they all grow back before Winter!

Japan's Air Self Defense Force has marked its 60th anniversary with a
display using plane-shaped scooters. The scooters were ridden by 24
members of the force's ground crew.
They look so unhappy.....

More geese
Gray, chilly and damp yesterday, but the geese kept flying over all day long!
Wonder if they know if it's going to be a bad Winter????
Usually by the time I hear them, find my trusty camera and go outside they are long gone.
Got lucky this time!
