Just an ordinary day in Coopville..

Another HOT one:

(but a lot less humid!)

Some of the girls wandered out....

.... and some stayed in:

But they all came back for some leftover pork chops!

A view of Coopville from beyond the stone wall:

The dirt berm is a fire stop if the woods catch on fire.

Hubby worked really hard to clear this land:

We will never use this back here, but it is a wonderful buffer against further development.

More logs to be turned into....

...

...our wood piles!

(Our neighbor, the one with the horses, said he saw a huge black bear walking
by our wood pile Sunday evening --- yikes!)

Thinking about getting another barn to put here - maybe:

If we were younger we could have one heck of a mini-farm
with pastures and a huge garden!

Now THAT is a big leaf!!!

A giant pepper:

Some more garden produce:

:o)

  1. My theory is that every time you expand your storage space, (new barn) the amount of things you need to store expands just a bit more than the space available.

    It's hot in Philly.

    1. We need more space, John ... Have my jeep, Hubby's jeep and and the backhoe in the garage - no more room left! The truck is in the barn....
