Finally let the gang out of the pen yesterday:
Old Maude was smart - she didn't go out on the ice!
Thelma went further than all the others:
Charlie does NOT like his tootsies to get cold!
Tippy-toeing back to the pen:
The run is covered in ice and only the pen and the coop are dry. When they finally see dirt
or green grass, they are going to go nuts with sheer joy!
(and so will I)

ReplyDeleteBecause when all the chickens put on their tiny baseball gloves and begin bouncing their tiny baseballs against the walls of the coop it is really annoying.

Too funny, John! It's snowing again NOW - I might want to buy them hockey sticks - Charlie can drive the Zamboni! LOL!
