Boids .... lots of boids!

(Sorry I haven't been on much - Hubby is really feeling under the weather. The storm was rough on us this time around).

All the feathered ones know where to find food!

It's been cold and windy - don't want to go outside for long:

Total snow was about 18 inches - with higher drifts!

Couldn't keep all the snow out of the pen, either.

The gang spend a lot of time inside the coop and even some little wrens kept them company!

Promise to answer all  your comments tonight!

:o)

  2. I used to love feeding the birds, but it got too expensive.

    1. I buy the suet when it's on sale for the feeder and I just threw chicken feed out for the others. They ate crumbled stale bread and crackers, too!

    1. It it Hubby hard - this afternoon was the first time in days he didn't feel really sick. He tries to do too much and doesn't realize he's 76.

  5. Glad to hear that CM and hubby are on the mend.
Fret not dear Chicken Mom. I am a 73 year old female and only recently have I accepted the reality of my failing capacity to function at a high level.
It is a slap in the face for an Alpha male, his aim in life is to make a perfect life for you.
He chose you above all others, to be his mate.
    You lucky woman.

    1. Thanks for the encouragement, Granny! I'm 72 and it's just damn hard to accept I can't do even half of what I used to do. Ah, but when I could.... LOL! :o)
