Hubby took down another tree yesterday:
It is a nice, straight one.....
.... but the woodpeckers were eating the heck out of it.
It was a lot taller than we thought:
This is what is left - he'll finish moving the cut sections today over to the piles to be split.
It will keep us nice and warm in another year or two.
Good thing Charlie's new feathers are really starting to come in.
He's in for a nice surprise sometime this week!
