Introducing:
Wilma:
And
Betty:
Charlie gets to see his new girlfriends for the first time.
He's in the run - Wilma and Betty are locked in the pen:
Maude is upset:
Later on, I put them all in the pen together:
Not much fighting for the pecking order. Maude pecked on Wilma a few
times, but that was it. So far. But Maude is still upset:
But oh, my - Charlie is one VERY happy, happy rooster!!
(And yes, he did. Both of them)
:o)
Oh, my! Drama in the coop. There will be no living with Charlie for a while. :)
ReplyDeleteBetty and Wilma are gorgeous. No wonder Maude has her beak a bit out of joint. Tell her she is still queen of the yard, tho.
LOL! Maude wouldn't let Wilma and Betty up on the roosting bar last night. She made them sleep in the nest boxes - she wants Charlie all to herself! :o)
DeleteMaude will have to put on some net stockings and mix some drinks for 'The Stud.' The competition should be intriguing. Lovely new girls. I cackled when I read the name of your new Chickie babes. Betty and Wilma from the Flintstones. Hysterical.
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to watch Maude - she'll sneak up and bite Wilma! Always name my gals after movie/TV stars! :o)
DeleteI agree, Granny...nice meme, ChickenMom!
ReplyDeleteHappy days are in Coopville again. They're beautiful, and Charlie's molt is producing a new suit of feathers for the party.
Poor Maude tho...
Maybe poor Maude will get a break now - she was going bald from Charlie hanging on! :o) Charlie never realizes how funny he looks.....
DeleteCharlie looks rather proud of himself! lol
ReplyDeleteOh he is, Gorges! He's trutting around like a little Napoleon! :o)
DeleteWilma and Betty. Somehow they seem like ideal names. You definitely made Charlie's day.
ReplyDeleteCharlie sure is one happy, tired rooster!
