.... named "Fay":
Friday stated out sunny and the neighbor's cat came over for a visit:
Then
the clouds covered the sun:
Followed by the rain - lots and lots of rain:
Got quite a bit, too!
Saturday was a better day:
The girls had fun chasing moths....
... until it starting raining again...
(sigh)
:o)
My friend in Wayne said they got a lot of water, so much that the streets were unsafe for awhile. I guess their sewer systems are not geared for that much rain. We do not get out of bed for tropical storms here in Florida
ReplyDeleteUsed to work in Wayne, Bobo - it was ALWAYS flooded! Route 23 was the worst!
DeleteWe have had a few rains with some wind, but nearly as much as we need in our area. Enjoyed your pics as always:))
ReplyDeleteWe have enough for a while, Mamahen - all the peepers are loving it, though. The racket they make at night is unbelievable! :o)
DeleteWe had a 10-minute downpour a couple days ago and that was it so far for nearly two weeks.
ReplyDeleteAt least the drier weather will keep the gnat & fly problems down for a while, Gorges - our bug zapper has to be emptied every other day!
