Our so-called tropical storm....

.... named "Fay":

Friday stated out sunny and the neighbor's cat came over for a visit:

Then
the clouds covered the sun:

Followed by the rain - lots and lots of rain:

Got quite a bit, too!

Saturday was a better day:

The girls had fun chasing moths....

... until it starting raining again...

(sigh)

  1. My friend in Wayne said they got a lot of water, so much that the streets were unsafe for awhile. I guess their sewer systems are not geared for that much rain. We do not get out of bed for tropical storms here in Florida

    1. We have enough for a while, Mamahen - all the peepers are loving it, though. The racket they make at night is unbelievable! :o)

  3. We had a 10-minute downpour a couple days ago and that was it so far for nearly two weeks.

    1. At least the drier weather will keep the gnat & fly problems down for a while, Gorges - our bug zapper has to be emptied every other day!
