Mostly about my backyard chickens. (Boring, I know), but there are a lot of us out here. Mine are only kept as pampered pets. I could eat a neighbor's chicken, but not MINE. There may be a comment on current events only if I get riled up enough. And there will always be a cartoon or a joke to cheer us. I promise to try my very best to respond to comments. Now I have to figure out how this blogger thingy works....
When it was just starting out, it sounded like a living, breathing monster. Fire breathing dragon, perhaps? Way beyond cool!
ReplyDeleteI think that is the best video I've ever found! Glad you liked it, too!
DeleteWhat a great post. I did not know of the Garrett locomotives. Very interesting and made pretty much all gauges. The ones in the video were 3 ft. 6 in and 4-8-2+2-8-4. And it looked like the extra water tank between the engines.
ReplyDeleteDid you see all the boids at the 4:42 mark? Have to mention them for Chickenmom!
Those stats were a great read, weren't they? Steam, smoke, whistles, mountain and boids! What more could 'ya ask for?
