Stinky-stink

As you probably know already, I try to keep the coop as clean as possible. When I opened the door to put in fresh water, there was this awful smell (not poopsies). Smelled like something had died in there. So I had to clean the entire coop out. An egg had broken and got buried in the hay of one of the nest boxes and had started to ferment. It was probably one of Lucy's because when she does lay an egg, the shell is quite thin.

Charlie doesn't like it when I mess with "his" house. This is him checking out everything:

He even peeks into the nest boxes. And he still made a nest in one of the corners for the hens later in the day!
