My brother still has my Dad's set from the 1920's!
Maybe this is why I like things made with gears so much. What do you think??
Mostly about my backyard chickens. (Boring, I know), but there are a lot of us out here. Mine are only kept as pampered pets. I could eat a neighbor's chicken, but not MINE. There may be a comment on current events only if I get riled up enough. And there will always be a cartoon or a joke to cheer us. I promise to try my very best to respond to comments. Now I have to figure out how this blogger thingy works....
I had a shyt load of those :)
ReplyDeleteSo glad I had boys. Then a grandson - spent many happy years playing with them!
DeleteI think you should talk your brother out of it. If he resists, sic Evil Ethel on him. :-)

He won't part with it. To many good memories of sharing it with my Dad! The set is really neat, though. It's the exact same one as in the second picture. Most of the parts, including all the little nuts and bolts are there, but the wooden box it came in is damaged.
