Just some pics:

We've had a bear walk up our driveway every morning this week. I am NOT going to go outside and try to get a pic of it. It had knocked down the neighbor's bird seed feeder last week. He took it down and will put it up again next Winter. Lots of critters abound here in Coopville - bears,  damn deer, bunnies and groundhogs. Pretty soon the flat possums will decorate the road. Ahhh, Spring!

More vultures are roosting:

Have no idea what these are - just growing in one small patch. If they get flowers, I'll take
 a photo of 'em!

Lots and lots of these - they have no scent, but are pretty:

Two more tulips popped up:

We are going to have a lot of lilies!

Liliacs:

Mr. Froggy - he lives by the deck. The gang always knock him over....

Hubby hung up the rooster wind chime yesterday - I love the sound it makes!

Charlie:

A peek of India munching on some hay:

  1. Beware of the bear. They are hungry, cranky and looking for food; after all they haven't had a feed for months.
The flowers are lovely. Lilacs have the most intoxicating smell, don't they?

    1. A bear was hit just the other day - it was a small one and not wise to the ways of trucks. The lilacs are wonderful this time of year!

  2. Bears! YIKES!!

The little blue bloom is a Grape Hyacinth. They like to naturalize in the grass and spread, but unfortunately, they get mowed down with the rest of the grass.

  3. Used to see bears often when I lived in northern Minnesota. Now the only wildlife I see are coming out of the bars at closing time.
Ah, lilacs. My most favorite of flowers.

    1. Our road is a shortcut to the main road into town. Lots and lots of that kind of wildlife here, too....

    1. Unfortunately we have a lot of bears here - always have to be careful because they make no noise when wandering through.
