Hear him roar!

When I let the gang out, they always run for the front stone wall - we just pile leaves there so they usually find plenty of squirmy things in the dirt to eat.

Charlie is calling them, but they just ignore him unless it's a 'danger' squawk (then they run under the little fir tree and hide).

He gave up and joined them!

Little greenie things  are starting to pop up all over:

It's been such a looooong time since we've seen flowers!

It's going to be cooling down for the next few days, but we'll take it!
This is what we had last year on this date:

Went to town yesterday. All the talk is about a wolf that was spotted in our area a few days ago.
I wouldn't doubt it at all. Hubby and I both have seen mountain lions on our property. State wildlife folks deny the big cats are here, but a lot people have spotted them too. They are probably coming down from the Delaware Water Gap or Stokes Forest which is right in back of us. I know we have plenty of coyotes - we hear them all night long!

:o)

  1. Thankfully there have been no sightings of the Jersey Devil.
