The one and only Ella...
Mostly about my backyard chickens. (Boring, I know), but there are a lot of us out here. Mine are only kept as pampered pets. I could eat a neighbor's chicken, but not MINE. There may be a comment on current events only if I get riled up enough. And there will always be a cartoon or a joke to cheer us. I promise to try my very best to respond to comments. Now I have to figure out how this blogger thingy works....

Ella...they broke the mold.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great talent...she's missed.
DeleteCould listen to her all day - and sometimes I do! Glad you liked it!
ReplyDeleteI love the song and the singer... I play an arrangement on the piano, and it never fails to bring tears to my eyes. The melody is so evocative of an old friend... now long departed, but well remembered. I always think of Al when I hear or play this song. Good friend, big sunny smile, full of fun and an outlook on life, (albeit a far too short life for him), that we would do well to emulate.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the memories...
Cap'n Jan
If we are fortunate, at least one time in our lives, we can experience the feelings of being bewitched, bothered in bewildered. Ah, memories.....
