    1. Yes, thank you! That was a rescue hen - probably came from an egg farmer. I feel so sorry for them - they live and die cooped up and never see the sun or scratch in the dirt. Glad someone saved her!.

  5. I used to know semaphore, back in my Navy days. It was always interesting to see what the Signalmen were telling each other, ship-to-ship, when they weren't sending official messages.

    Shouldn't be too hard to memorize it again, if need be.
