Mostly about my backyard chickens. (Boring, I know), but there are a lot of us out here. Mine are only kept as pampered pets. I could eat a neighbor's chicken, but not MINE. There may be a comment on current events only if I get riled up enough. And there will always be a cartoon or a joke to cheer us. I promise to try my very best to respond to comments. Now I have to figure out how this blogger thingy works....
Son
Doong Cave in Vietnam – which is so big it contains a jungle and a
river – is now open for public tours. But don't expect it to become
crowded: just 224 tourists will be permitted to visit this year
Son Doong contains vast caverns, which fill the 5.5 mile long interior
So very nice to look at the pictures - don't think I'd want to visit. Although those "cave pearls" sure do look interesting!
I've been to the Shasta Caverns and it's AMAZING. I wouldn't mind visiting this cave you mentioned... although I don't want to do the work to rappell down into the entrance. I would rather be PLACED at the entrance and go from there. Intriguing!
Very interesting. Did not know of it. I have been to Mammoth Cave in Kentucky and
ReplyDeleteLinville Caverns in North Carolina. Cool. Literally.
Terry
Fla.
Much to claustrophobic for me. There are two good links above for more info and videos! :0)
ReplyDeleteInteresting but WOULD NOT want to be in there at all :))
ReplyDeleteAlmost like being in the " Lost World" movie!

ReplyDeleteYou are a lot braver than I am! Those pearls might tempt me, though. :0)
