I let them stay there for a while, but they did get to join the others! I'm surprised Shirley didn't follow Lavern right away. Oh well, they are not the brightest pets in the world....
Mostly about my backyard chickens. (Boring, I know), but there are a lot of us out here. Mine are only kept as pampered pets. I could eat a neighbor's chicken, but not MINE. There may be a comment on current events only if I get riled up enough. And there will always be a cartoon or a joke to cheer us. I promise to try my very best to respond to comments. Now I have to figure out how this blogger thingy works....

Chicken smarts
I had the nest box lid open to air the coop and Charlie jumped out to wander around. The girls were pretty ticked when they saw him the yard. Only Laverne figured out how to join him. Poor Shirley and Lucy - stuck in the pen!

What can you expect....there bird brains :))
ReplyDeleteLOL - You're right! But sometimes, just sometimes, they surprise me!
ReplyDeleteCharlie certainly is a hansom devil with that beautiful tail!
ReplyDeleteI just wish his neck feathers would grow in, but Lavern & Shirley keep pulling them out. I'm glad I have old pics of him when he was in his glory!
ReplyDeleteThey sure are fun to watch!
ReplyDeleteEach one is different - Lucy likes to be held, Laverne & Shirley don't. And Charlie thinks he's "hot stuff", but the hens walk all over him! Thanks for stopping by, Furry Bottoms - please visit often! :0)
