    1. It's like a piece of art. The same as steam engines. B/T/W - Have never been a a big airplane or a jet, Glenn. (Was in a friend's piper many, many years ago and only once). He loved flying.

  3. I remember seeing these many times in Miami. I also like this video with Arthur Godfrey. Listening to him on the radio many times. His radio was often from the hotel on Miami Beach, Kenilworth. He was a ham operator K4LIB.
    Eastern Air Lines still had a L-1049 in the early 1970's. It was used to move jet engines when needed in a hurry.
