Watch The North Carolina Countryside Whirl By On This Unforgettable Christmas Train

The Christmas season ushers in joy in so many forms, including events that create lasting memories with family and friends. In the Tar Heel State, there is a variety of Christmas train rides where you can do just that. Among them is a fantastic Christmas train at Tweetsie. If you haven’t experienced the Christmastime magic at Tweetsie Railroad then there’s no better time than this year. None of us are getting any younger, but at this enchanting Christmas event, we can all feel like a kid again.

The trains at Tweetsie run throughout their year-long season, but none is more magical than the nighttime Christmas train that rolls through the Blue Ridge Mountains with the tracks (and the train!) all lit up for the holidays.

 

A Tweetsie Christmas always includes thousands upon thousands of holiday lights and decorations throughout the park.

And plenty of Christmas cheer...

Carolers light up our soul, day and night with songs of the season...

and other delightful characters make us smile in ways only a child can understand.

And the Christmas train ride, either in the snow or not, is one of a kind — even in the daylight hours!

During the daytime, watch as the Blue Ridge Mountains roll by and you sing carols while enjoying the views.

The Christmas Train at Tweetsie Railroad begins on November 22, 2019. It runs on Friday and Saturday nights from November 22, 2019 through December 28, 2019. Tickets are $44/adults, $38/children age 3-12, children 2 and under are free. Tickets include admission to the entire park and the general Christmas festivities.
