PS:
You REALLY do get attached to them - honest!
:o)
Mostly about my backyard chickens. (Boring, I know), but there are a lot of us out here. Mine are only kept as pampered pets. I could eat a neighbor's chicken, but not MINE. There may be a comment on current events only if I get riled up enough. And there will always be a cartoon or a joke to cheer us. I promise to try my very best to respond to comments. Now I have to figure out how this blogger thingy works....
A wonderful story, with a very happy ending. I had to share this with my daughter who has a flock of chooks in Southern Georgia. She will love this story as much as I did. Thanks chicken Mom, Have a great holiday.
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed the story, Granny! I thought it was just charming! You and yours have a wonderful holiday, too!
DeleteWhile I would never have this attachment to a bird, it was a very cute story:))
ReplyDeleteLOL, Mamahen - I used to think chickens were just dumb birds...but they have stolen my heart! :o)
DeleteThey do steal your heart. I love my girls. Each with a different personality and each with a special place in my heart. This was a great story.
ReplyDeleteThey are all different - each one! Even Charlie is unique. (he let me pet his back the other day -(of course I had a treat in my other hand!) I love when they come-a-running when they see me!
