Icicles

Just some pics of the odd shapes of the icicles hanging from the roof of the house  the other day:

The patterns were quite interesting:

It had been windy and the sun melted them into odd shapes:

I love being retired- I have the time to notice
what others don't see!

A vulture soaring in the sky - just thought I'd throw that one in!

:o)

    1. They were beautiful and some were quite long! The sun is trying to shine through those clouds today!

  2. And I'm happy you're retired and can show us things we wouldn't ordinarily see. It makes life so much more interesting. Thank you! I was just talking to my son about you this morning. All the interesting video shorts you show, like the lightbulbs being made. He's in the middle of a project that's really challenging him to think now, and he was saying how he has a greater appreciation on how even the simplest are made. The thought, math, precision machinery etc. that goes into creating anything.

    1. Awww - thank you for those nice words! Good that your son likes to challenge himself - tell him curiosity never killed that cat - it made him smarter! I hope his project turns out well and that he learned a lot about it and himself!
