Mostly about my backyard chickens. (Boring, I know), but there are a lot of us out here. Mine are only kept as pampered pets. I could eat a neighbor's chicken, but not MINE. There may be a comment on current events only if I get riled up enough. And there will always be a cartoon or a joke to cheer us. I promise to try my very best to respond to comments. Now I have to figure out how this blogger thingy works....

The mushrooms of Coopville
I have absolutely no idea what kind they are, but they sure are interesting!
This one was huge! It was growing under a fir tree:
Reminds me of popcorn!
Charlie and the girls do not go near them, so I guess they aren't editable.
There is a lot more by our little swamp - but I don't like going down there. Too many icky critters. I only eat mushrooms from the supermarket! Love stuffed mushrooms! Yummy!
So much stuff to see in Coopville, Jenn - Hubby always says "what ate you taking a picture of now?" when he sees me crawling around on my knees! Maybe someday I can get a better camera that shows the smaller things I find.
What an amazing variety of Fungi. assume they are all poison.

DeleteNone of them is a Morrel, so copy the chickens and leave them alone.
ReplyDeleteI'll send you a pic of the Morrel so you can spot them if they grow there.
Thanks Cuz - checking e-mail now!
