Mostly about my backyard chickens. (Boring, I know), but there are a lot of us out here. Mine are only kept as pampered pets. I could eat a neighbor's chicken, but not MINE. There may be a comment on current events only if I get riled up enough. And there will always be a cartoon or a joke to cheer us. I promise to try my very best to respond to comments. Now I have to figure out how this blogger thingy works....
Beautiful cars. And great music. I noticed they saved the '57 Chevy till last. And yes Vicki, I remember cruising and going to the drive in. Both the movies and the ones with the car hops.
Oh, my goosebumps are shivering. The memories evoked by those beautiful cars, many of which I either drove or rode around in. They are works of art never to be seen again. Thank you. My heart soars.
Cars then had class. Today, they all look alike. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteDo you remember cruising on Friday night?
Yes I do - there was a street we called "Gasoline Alley" Great cars, great times! :o)

The '57 was a beautiful car - the very best of the best! If they made one that looked like that again, it was outsell everything else!

Kids today have no idea what a real' car is. Poor things!
DeleteWOW
ReplyDeleteI forgot how beautiful those cars were.
That why car shows are sooo popular today. And gas only cost 25 cents a gallon back then too!
