Mostly about my backyard chickens. (Boring, I know), but there are a lot of us out here. Mine are only kept as pampered pets. I could eat a neighbor's chicken, but not MINE. There may be a comment on current events only if I get riled up enough. And there will always be a cartoon or a joke to cheer us. I promise to try my very best to respond to comments. Now I have to figure out how this blogger thingy works....
I don't really remember that one. Really good. My first thought while listening to the lyrics: Chickenmom has Charlie. And hubby and all your faithful blog readers. :)
Danced to this many, many times. This along with Hushabye (the Mystics), In the Still of The Night (Five Satins), Over the Rainbow (the Dimensions who I worked with one summer) and To The Aisle also by the Five Satins. They were hits just before or early in my teen years but still incredibly popular and played at all the dances. Jimmy Beaumont had a fantastic voice.

They also did a few PBS specials on the old Doo-Wop series. Charlie was almost made into stew - he attacked me twice yesterday.....
DeleteI sure do remember this 'un!
ReplyDeleteBet you still remembered all the words, too - I know I did!! :o)
DeleteDid we really dress like that? And think we were the bees knees. Yes.
ReplyDeleteDresses made out of 'polished cotton'. And we WERE!!!! :o)
