Mostly about my backyard chickens. (Boring, I know), but there are a lot of us out here. Mine are only kept as pampered pets. I could eat a neighbor's chicken, but not MINE. There may be a comment on current events only if I get riled up enough. And there will always be a cartoon or a joke to cheer us. I promise to try my very best to respond to comments. Now I have to figure out how this blogger thingy works....

I've lost mine!
Not really (I think!) I still have mine from when I was a kid, but they are nothing like these:
Marbles! Beautiful, beautiful marbles!
And this shows how it's crafted! Just an amazing art!
Beautiful. I haven't done any glass blowing since I was a teenager. Never any good at it but it was fun. My internet developed from my interest in chemistry and associated laboratory glassware. I think most are familiar with artistic glassblowing but not scientific glassblowing. See: http://www.ilpi.com/glassblowing/history.html If you ever get an opportunity to see a Dale Chiluly exhibit, be sure to go. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dale_Chihuly

Didn't know you knew how to do that! There is usually a glass blower at the craft fairs here - so much fun to watch!
DeleteThe key part of my comment was "Never any good at it"
DeleteAnd there was an autocorrect typo - My internet should have been My interest.
Knew what 'ya meant - my keyboard does the same ting!
DeleteAnd you find the neatest things to post.
ReplyDeleteThanks - it's just stuff I find interesting and hope that others do to! :o)
DeleteCool! I've truly lost mine. I had some really neat ones that I wish I could find.
ReplyDeleteI keep mine in an old cardboard box. Just can't part with them - too many fond memories!
