ReplyDeleteI think I remember seeing something on TV about some millionaire with one, Terry. He was kicking himself because he bought it years ago and hot rodded it - and found out afterward that his machine was one of less than a half-dozen in the world and it's value had virtually been destroyed by the customization...
DeleteBut that '32 Packard... oh, my!
DeleteHubby says the same thing about his '64 409, Glen. Could kick himself for selling it.
DeleteYup. I'll bet if he had it to sell today ... It would easily go 6 figures....
DeleteHe still talks about that...... :o(
DeleteGreat pics,
ReplyDeletedoes it say something about my age when I'm more interested in the cars than the stars...
LOL! 'Nope!!! :o)
DeleteI met Cary Grant's pilot....a rather attractive fellow, have his autograph, also Milton Berle...got them both during a scavenger hunt in Hollywood...long story. My youngest son, his name is Cord, so he collected models of the car...for years...great post!
