Poor Charlie has a boo-boo

Yesterday was a perfect, beautiful day! For most of the morning the gang was enjoying bug hunting in the yard. After they were put back in the pen, I went in there, sat on my favorite log and gave them treats. That's when I noticed Charlie's leg:

 One of his gigantic spurs broke off and all that was left was a bloody stump!

 The one on his other leg has a crack around it. I guess that one will fall off, too.

I tried to get some antibiotic ointment on it, but he wouldn't let me near it.

 He's not limping and he still plays rodeo with the girls, so I don't think it hurts him too much.
