Still ain't fixed...

... and still no hot water to be had. (Unless I made some on the stove) All the copper coils have to be replaced. Last year it was a new motor. It's always something up here. A dishwasher will just have to wait for a while now. At least the one I am using is free:

They should be here today with the new parts. So I spend all of yesterday outside raking old leaves out of the bushes and cleaning the coop and pen..

Hubby ferterlized the ground to get it ready for new grass seed:

I'll cut some forsythia branches and see if they will root in water.

The gang spent the day outside following me around and getting underfoot. Every time I would have a piles of leaves, they would scratch in it and mess it all up.

Getting their raisin treats before bedtime:

 First Laverne goes in....

 ... then Shirley is next.....

 ... and the king is last. Then the fights start on who roosts where. Charlie always wins.

 He wants the spot by the door and he'll peck at the girl's feet until they move!

It was cloudy all day, but at least it didn't rain - so that WAS good!
