Going through some old boxes and I found this one from when I was a kid.
Horrors! Lead cowboys and Indians!
Couldn't buy these today nor the happy memories they hold.
I found a lot more toys that I have taken with me on all my moves.
Think it's about time to sort them all out?
:o)
What treasures :))
ReplyDeleteHad a whole set of British Calvary and soldiers - maybe they are tucked away in another box! I can remember the arms moved on the soldiers. Many happy hours were spent playing with them.
DeleteThink long and hard about who to pass them on to.
ReplyDeleteDon't think they are worth anything, Gorges. They were played with so much, the paint has come off most of them.
DeleteOh, they are worth something, but not in dollars or cents. A true heirloom for the next generation to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteDon't have or know any little ones to pass them on to, CW. My kids didn't even play with them. They were into Matchbox cars, G.I. Joe's, Tonka trucks and army men. Their heroes weren't cowboys!
DeleteLol my daughter is truly her mother's daughter....Gene Autry and Roy Rogers were her childhood heroes :))
ReplyDeleteMine too, Mamahen! Remember Fury?? Oh, what a horse!! :o)
