Well ...

.... woke up to a little bit of snow Monday morning. Not much, but there was a lot of ice under it!

We went to Home Depot to get sand for the pen, which was a mess:

 Puddles of water were everywhere....

 Some critter was trying to dig a hole in the corner - I plugged it up with rocks, hay and sand:

While I was cleaning out the pen, Charlie wandered in and saw where I put the food bowl. He does NOT like it when things are changed around! He had to inspect everything!

 After Charlie was chased out, the pen was cleaned. I put down 50 pounds of sand:

 Then lots and lots of fresh hay and chips. Shirley was the first one in:

Laverne waited while Shirley checked everything out:

 Charlie was last - How brave of him!

The ground was frozen in the pen and when the rain got in there is just made pools of water. That pen is going to need major repairs and upgrades in the Spring. Oh joy...
