Still chilly with on and off flurries.
Most of the day was cloudy, but not windy (for a change).
The gang stepped out of pen for the first time in a few days.
Adventurous Laverne was the first one out.
Charlie came out too, but he does not like to get his tootsies wet - he's standing on one leg.
Shirley tried to find something green to peck on.
In less than five minutes they were back in the pen looking for treats.
The weather finally started to clear around 4PM.
That was just about all the excitement we had yesterday!
Brrrrr But pretty. We are forecast rain coming at us from California's big storm.
ReplyDeleteI just hope this Winter isn't as cold as last year's! It was brutal. 'Hope you don't get so much rain it causes damage or floods. Stay dry!

DeleteThere was a bit on NPR today about chickens. Pretty interesting. I think it was 'On Point' show. You can probably go to NPR and listen to it online, they generally have their shows available.
