Busy day!

Very busy day here at Coopville yesterday :

Hubby weed-whacking the front

My job: clean up this mess along the driveway!

And it WAS a big mess!

Nice 'n clean - will build a rock wall there in the Spring!

Charlie and the girls

Hubby digging a hole for this Winter's fireplace
ashes.

Shirley and Charlie

Lucy's funny shaped egg - none from Laverne & Shirley

Lots and lots of leaves to clean up...

It was a beautiful Fall day and we spend most of it outside. The next big project is to get a roof put on the pen before the snow starts. Hopefully, we can get it done sometime this month!

  1. The best time is that spent outside on a beautiful day.

    1. It was a perfect day. Sunny, 70 degrees with a slight breeze. The trees are just beautiful this time of year!

  3. there ought to be a market for your rocks they look like good building rock.i couldn't tell if your backhoe has a thumb on it its a piece of steel that hangs dow up from the scoop that you can use to pick up things like rock or a log etc there are plans on the internet.the rocks we sell around here are sorted and then put on palltes so they can be loaded more easily I know several people who make part of their living selling rocks to Yankees and I would say you are right in amongst them your friend truckwilkins

    1. Hubby will have to use the backhoe to bring them to the front of the house. The scoop does have the thumbs on it, but it is not very wide. Can't sell those rocks - everyone here has them! :o)
