Tomato fritters

This is how I used up some of these tomatoes from the other day:



First I washed and sliced the tomatoes. Dipped them in a beaten egg (I used one of Lavern's). then covered them in Italian bread crumbs.....



Fried them in oil until they were golden brown on both sides.......



Topped each with a pinch of salt and Parmasian cheese which melted right in......



So, so good! I made several batches for the neighbors, too. Tastes best when eaten HOT!
