Mostly about my backyard chickens. (Boring, I know), but there are a lot of us out here. Mine are only kept as pampered pets. I could eat a neighbor's chicken, but not MINE. There may be a comment on current events only if I get riled up enough. And there will always be a cartoon or a joke to cheer us. I promise to try my very best to respond to comments. Now I have to figure out how this blogger thingy works....
We had my '79 Itasca packed in 1997 ready for the tour, but decided to camp on Camp Pendleton for two weeks first. Well, we never left. :) Couldn't ask for much more: Oceanfront on the cliff, $10 a day with no hookups, the PX, Commissary, MP's and Dixie's school 5 minutes away. Stayed there 6 months, then bought a house in Fallbrook and after another 6 months, got bored and went back.:) Interspersed these with month long trips to Baja where we bought fresh lobsters off the boats in the morning and fresh fish in the afternoon.
Why yes, it IS purty up here. All y'all need to come and see us, hear?
ReplyDeleteMaybe, Rev. Paul. Just maybe I will get there.......... :0)
