Old lightbulbs

These are part of the collection my Dad had. I think my brother has the rest of them.

Each one of these is screwed into a 4 -1/2" round ceramic base.  The one on the left is about 8" high and the one on the right is slightly smaller. There are no markings whatsoever on the bulbs, but the ceramic bases are made in the USA and are stamped 250W, 250V.

This one sits in a 2" square ceramic base and is about 6" high. The bulb has a pointy top. There is a sticker on the bulb, but it's upside down and has the image of a crown with the words "Brian Marsh Imperial."

All the filaments are still connected inside each bulb!

Just thought they were pretty neat and wanted to share them with you!

  1. Thanks for the link! The little one is very old - I don't know about the two larger ones - will have to check

  2. Now that's cool! Old TV tubes are also little works of industrial art.

    1. Might have a couple of those, too. Kids today wouldn't even know what they are!
