Garden preps

Hubby getting the garden prepared for planting in a few weeks. This is the first turn over this year.

When he cuts the grass, the clippings will go in and he'll turn the dirt again.

About a week before we plant, lots and lots of that good chicken poop that has been fermenting on the bottom of the compost pile will be shoveled in and turned.

Then a few bags of Miracle Grow thrown in and we are all set!

Now IF the weather cooperates this year, we should have plenty for canning.

My potatoes will be planted in the cinder blocks. These pics were taken year before last.

I hope we get another good crop this year!
