The girls came up for another visit yesterday afternoon.
It seems so strange not to see or hear Ethel.
There are no fights when they are put in the coop at night and Charlie doesn't seem to peck at Lavern and Shirley so much. Ethel would bite everyone, even Charlie, until she had the best roosting spot.
Lucy has not picked a new friend yet. If she does, I hope it is Shirley because she is so timid.
It's peaceful in Coopville, but I still miss The Evil One.
Stupid chicken.....
Awww maybe there will be an Ethel the second if you get more girls this spring..
ReplyDeletePoultry show up here is in May - maybe will have to look for a hen (or two) that no one else wants. There are a lot of cranky chickens out there! :0)
