Out of the pen

It warmed up to a sunny 20 degrees yesterday afternoon, so I let everyone out in the yard for a while.

Here are some pics of Charlie. Notice the swelling has really gone down a lot.

Luckily, the girls have not picked on the blackened portion of his wattles. They have been picking on his neck when his new feathers come in. It's been like that for a long time now. It's going to be interesting to see what he is going to look like when those frostbitten parts fall off.

He's still mad at me though......
