Cold

Not much going on at the coop - still very cold and icy out. Everyone is staying in the pen. I've cleaned up all the frozen poop and put in more hay to keep them warm and gave them extra food.

Please remember to check your chicken's combs and wattles for frostbite. If you see any black spots, immediately put Vaseline on them. Check their feet and legs, too. Most chicken breeds are pretty hardy, but extra care is needed when it gets this cold.
