Space Station!

If you want to see when the Space Station or other satellites will be passing over YOUR house,
go to: www.spaceweather.com/fly/bys and enter your zip code.  It's an amazing site and it does work. I've used in the past to see the space station, which is unbelievable beautiful!

  1. A great site. I enjoy watching the satellites. Try just looking up after twilight but before it gets too late. Use a lawn chair. You will be supprised how many satellites will pass over.

Also check out this page: http://www.fourmilab.ch/yoursky/
There is a link there to a free astronomy program called Home Planet that runs on windows.
Lots of other interesting stuff on that web site. Go to the home page and be prepared to spend hours.

    1. Thanks so much for the info on Home Planet! I remember my Dad waking me up at night to see Sputnik when I was a kid. There is good viewing where we live now; very dark - no street lights and no lights from any town. The best time is in the Winter, but it is usually so cold outside - have to really bundle up!
