Coop Cleaning

Now that Oscar and Nina have a new home, I want to give the coop, pen and the run a good cleaning. And  take out the chick hutch - finally.

The cleaning will be done in sections. First the run is cleaned (while everyone is locked in the pen).
Scoot them all into the run and close the gate. Drag that darn chick hutch out, wash it down and put it behind the barn. The pen is now hosed down and swept. Wood shavings and hay are next.
Finally, the coop is cleaned and disinfected inside. As a treat the coop and nest boxes are now brimming with fresh hay and shavings - it smells so good!

Amos, Andy, Charlie, Goldie, Ethel, Lucy and I start a new chapter together. For once, Ethel behaves and there is no fighting.

Maybe this time, everything will work out...maybe.
