Since I'm going to let Nina be a Mom, I have some cleaning to get done.
Empty out the coop - including all the nest boxes, scrub it down, (even the roosting bar) let it dry out, sprinkle flea and tick powder all over, put down wood shavings and fill with nice fresh hay.
Hopefully she will have a sweeter disposition if she hatches some chicks, but I am still worried what the other chickens will do.
I am not going to place Lucy's and Ethel's eggs under her. If she wants eggs, she'll have to roll them over to her nest box. This will give her some much need exercise since she spends so much time in the coop.
After going through all this work, I hope Cowboy Oscar ain't a 'dud'..........
